PITTSBURGHʼS BEST BARBER CUTS AROUND THE CLOCK FOR LOCAL YOUTH CHARITY
Pittsburgh Magazine named Michael Bʼs Gentlemenʼs Barber Shop (MBGB) as the BEST
BARBERSHOP in their “Best Of” Pittsburgh edition for 2009. With the recent city-wide success of his
newly opened shop, owner Michael B. is celebrating by giving back the community – one of which has
helped get to where he is today. “Everyone has choices to make in life – sometimes we make the
wrong ones,” says B., “This is an opportunity for me to help spotlight a local organization that makes
a huge impact on Pittsburgh youth and teens.”
MBGB will be hosting a “Cut-a-thon” to benefit Outreach Teen & Family Services Inc., a community
resource for young people and their families, fostering emotionally healthy teens by providing
counseling and educational programs in a welcoming and supportive environment. Their general
purpose is to provide professional, confidential, affordable counseling to young people ages 12 to 21
and their families.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday November 13th and cutting 24-hours straight through to 6 p.m. on
Saturday, November 14th, 100% of service income and donations will go to Outreach Teen and
Family Services Inc. Additional revenue will be generate through raffle in which MBGB will be
donating selections from its exclusive proprietary line of menʼs upscale grooming products. Prices for

Outreach Teen & Family Services Inc. Office and Development Coordinator, Jean Magazzu, is
excited to support this fundraising event. “MBGB is an excellent example of what you can accomplish
if you put your sweat, dreams, and heart into something that you truly believe in,” says Jean. “His

*After the event, the staff at MBGB will present the donation amount to the organization and will also
present the youth/teens of the organization with complimentary cuts on-site.
